What is Interval ownership?
Tranquility Bay offers Interval ownership of its suites as opposed to outright purchase. With the Interval ownership, you have the right of use of your suite annually for the next 45 years (or length of years of your membership), for a specific week(s).
What is a week?
This is the use of seven consecutive nights beginning on Saturday. The calendar of weeks changes
annually, as week one starts on the first Saturday in January.
Can I exchange my week(s) for another week(s)?
With the Tranquility Bay Program you can exchange your week(s) with us for another period.
Can I break up my week(s) and take two separate vacations?
Yes you can! Tranquility Bay offers the flexibility of split weeks. You can use your one week over a period
of two weekends in one same year.
What happens if I am unable to use my week one year?
We will bank your week(s) for future usage with Interval International, if it is not being used in the current
year. However, the banked weeks must be used within two years of the date of banking.
How is my membership legally guaranteed?
Your membership in the vacation ownership program is governed by the Laws of Antigua and Barbuda
under CAP.427 of The Timesharing (Licensing and Control) Regulations Act. You will receive a deed
for your membership.
May I bring guests or give it to friends?
Of course you can! The Interval is yours and can make a great gift for friends or family. The spacious
option of the suites makes it easy to invite friends and family on vacation. If you decide to give your suite
all that is required is the payment of the annual maintenance fees.
As a member do I always have to stay at Tranquility Bay?
With Interval International, you have the option to never stay in the same resort twice. You can use your week(s) in more than 2,500 other resorts in 75 countries worldwide.
What are the ongoing expenses I should budget for?
There is an annual maintenance fee for each week of ownership.
Once I become a Member, will there be someone to provide me with information on using my Interval and making reservations?
Certainly, our Guest Services and Administrative departments will be available to provide you with all
relevant information including making your Interval reservations with us or with another resort through
Interval International.
